Consent

Marketing

Sometimes we send out newsletters with news or information that we think might interest you. The information is addressed to anyone who has signed up for the subscription of newsletters and thereby has given their consent of receiving the news/information. The information is never based on personal preferences.

If you once have registered for newsletters, you can always unregister from receiving them by simply clicking on the ”avprenumerera/unsubscribe” link at the end of each email. By clicking on this link your consent will be withdrawn.

Cookies

Device information collected through cookies is also based on your consent. Note, however, that some cookies serve an essential function and the website cannot work properly without them. Read more about cookies below.

Our legitimate interests

Snapshots

The publication of images and videos on our website and social media is based on our legitimate interest to inform about our business. In general, no consent is needed, however, our photographer may ask you before taking the picture/video if he/she thinks it is necessary.

Please contact us at infopblk.se if you want Publik to delete you from such publications.

Surveillance camera

Camera surveillance involves image capture, which is a personal information if the person in question is identifiable. At Publik we have camera surveillance to prevent, reveal and investigate crimes against guests and staff, as well as burglary and theft, with the support of legitimate interest. We have thus made the assessment that our interests in exercising camera surveillance are proportionate and reasonable in relation to the risks that you as an individual are exposed to as a result of the treatment.   Our cameras do not record sound and recording takes place only to prevent, reveal and investigate crimes. Most cameras only play during particularly vulnerable times. We save the recording as long as it is necessary for us to be able to take measures to safeguard legal interests in connection with crime.   Only the Public Operations Manager has direct access to the recorded material, which is password protected and saved so that unauthorized access is prevented. The material is not handed out to outsiders, only at the request of the authorities for eg. police.   In our assessment, we have taken into account how our cameras are set up, and that the camera surveillance follows the rules laid down in the Camera Guard Act 2018: 1200. All spaces with camera surveillance are signposted.   Read about your rights in connection with the processing of your personal information under the heading ”Your rights”. For more information about our treatment in connection with camera surveillance, please contact gdpr@pblk.se.

Recorded material via our camera surveillance is saved for a maximum of 30 days with the exception of whether the material is subject to a criminal investigation. In these cases, the material is deleted when the investigation is completed and it is no longer necessary to save from the awareness of the evidence.

Compliance with law

A part of the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Publik is subject, e.g. due to our accounting obligation or at the request of the authorities.

We will then securely destroy your personal information. However, the same personal data can be stored in several different locations for different purposes. This means that we may delete specific data from one system where it is no longer needed, while the same data remains in another system where it is still needed for another purpose.

Images and videos in our social channels and on the website are stored for a maximum of 3 years. Images and videos that we do not publish on these platforms and that we do not intend to use, are deleted immediately.

In order to defend ourselves against legal claims, certain information may be stored in accordance with the applicable limitation period. The personal data that Publik is processing based on “compliance with law” is stored in accordance with the time specified in the applicable law.
